Under NDA

This is a high-level overview. The client and proprietary details are protected, so the work is described at the level of strategy and decisions rather than specifics. I'm glad to walk through it in more depth in conversation.

Context

Construction-site monitoring is fragmented and reactive: scattered photos, emails, and qualitative reports that never aggregate into a trend. This company holds a rare asset, continuous ground-level imagery from active sites, and three competing visions for it (builder software, oversight and compliance, or raw data-as-a-service) with no clear path between them.

My role

I shape product strategy across the platform and design how raw field imagery becomes a decision-ready signal. The work spans four surfaces: the computer-vision intake that reads site imagery, the internal tools operations teams work in, the field-capture app, and the client-facing view that builders and oversight bodies see.

Approach

I resolve the three-way strategic fork into a single platform-first direction, with the analysis surfaced inside a bundled client portal rather than sold as a standalone product. I design the model that turns many individual site observations into one consistent, comparable read, so a non-expert can look at a site and know whether it's on track without parsing raw photos.

Outcome

The platform is in alpha across its surfaces, with the first client-facing phase rolling out to builders, developers, and municipal stakeholders. Portal access is now bundled into new operations agreements, building a base of named users with no cold sales motion.
